A Pike County man has been arrested after police say he allegedly held his wife against her will and tortured her in their home over a three day period. 31 year old Zorn Paul Turner, of Glenwood, is charged with felony counts that include Kidnapping, 2nd Degree Domestic Battery, Aggravated Assault on a Family or Household Member, Endangering the Welfare of a Minor, and First Degree Terroristic Threatening. Turner’s wife told police that during the three days, she was kept captive in a bedroom without food. She said her husband struck her with his fists, bit her, kicked & choked her, hit her with a crescent wrench and she was burned on multiple places on her body with a propane camping style torch and butane cigarette lighter.
The woman and her child were able to escape when the three went to a convenience store for fuel. She contacted authorities & was treated at a hospital for her injuries.
