Howard County 4-H holds Dairy Food Contest

Monday night, members of the Howard County 4-H program competed in the county Dairy Foods contest.

The overall main dish winner was Anna Kate McKinnon and the overall party idea winner was Adelene Westfall.

In the Cloverbud division: Ember Boyce placed first in the main dish challenge, while Guy Cooper Kroll placed first in the party idea division. Boyce placed second and Rustin Bagley finished third.

In the junior main dish division, McKinnon placed first, Lily Trombley finished in second place and Payeton Bagley finished third. McKinnon also won the junior party idea division followed by Connor Bagley and Trombley. 

Sarah Lamb won the senior division main dish contest and Kat Chambers was the runner-up. Westfall won the senior party idea category followed by Lamb, and Christian Trombley.

The Howard County 4-H will be holding a Facebook auction on April 10-14 and the public can bid on the 4-Hers main dish and party idea items. All of the funds raised will help the Food Challenge teams attend future events. Winning bidders may pick up their dishes on Friday, April 15.
