Police Take Part in No Shave November

Once again this year, Nashville police officers are participating in no shave November to raise money for Christmas gifts for needy children. Throughout this month, each officer will go without shaving and seek at least four sponsors who are willing to pay 25 dollars each. Police Chief Amy Marion says local school district personnel select the children who participate in the program. In addition to money raised by the police department, Wal-Mart is providing a grant to supply additional funding for the project this year. Contact any officer or the police department to sponsor an officer during No Shave
November.
