Michigan man arrested in Prescott on murder charge

Friday afternoon, officers with the Western District US Marshal’s office, Nevada County Sheriff’s Department and the Prescott Police Department served a warrant on Rosston Road within the city of Prescott.

Christopher Greer, a 33 year old black male from Westland, Michigan, was arrested on a warrant out of the state of Michigan for charges including two counts of first degree murder and 4 counts of felony weapon possession.

Greer was transported to the Nevada County Detention facility where he is being held for extradition back to Michigan.
