Violet (Granny) Parvin, 93, of Nashville, died Monday, February 13, 2012. She was born August 12, 1918, in Hayti, MO,
the daughter of the late Joseph Mark and Hettie Hurley Tucker.

She was an employee of the Nashville walmart for 15 years, where she served in many different positions; she enjoyed
being on the go; and was a member of Open Door Baptist Church and attended Central Baptist Church

Mrs. Parvin was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Mills; a second husband Ted Parvin, and a son Elvin, Mills; two
brothers and one sister.

She is survived by one daughter, Betty Rauch of Nashville, AR; one brother, Frank Tucker; one daughter-in-law, Wanda
Mills; five grandchildren, Robert Rauch, Randy Rauch and wife, Julie; Elvin Mills, Jr. and wife, Wanda, Elsie Middleton, Marie
Krier and husband, Lonnie; thirteen grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews, and a
host of friends.

Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 17, at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Wayne Murphy
officiating, burial in Mineral Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday, February 16, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
