Murfreesboro Man Arrested for Forgery and Theft of Property Charges

A Murfreesboro man has been arrested on felony charges of Forgery and Theft of Property. Earlier this month, authorities were notified that 41 year old Christopher J. Wesson had attempted to cash someone else’s check of nearly $1,700 dollars at a Nashville business. Wesson was later questioned by Murfreesboro Police about the incident. Police reports said Wesson told authorities he stole the check from the individual’s mailbox because the victim had complained about Wesson to his landlord. Authorities recovered the check at Wesson’s residence & he was transported to the Pike County Jail.
