Dierks basketball coach resigns; JoAnn Walters Elementary principal retires

Board Members of the Dierks School District held their regular monthly meeting yesterday.
High School Principal Gene Strode’s contract was renewed per the salary schedule.

The Board also accepted three resignations starting with the High School Girls Basketball Coach Todd Finley, 3rd Grade Literacy and Social Studies Teacher Cameron Glasgow, and Elementary Principal Lori Finley who will be retiring from education once her 2022-2023 contract has ended.

There was also a motion passed to approve the transfer of seven students to the Umpire School District. All were in favor of those resignations, student transfers, and the renewal of Principal Gene Strode’s contract per salary schedule.
